摘要

This special issue includes nine extended, reviewed and revised papers originally presented at The Ninth International Conference on Computational Structures Technology (CST2008) and The Sixth International Conference on Engineering Computational Technology (ECT2008) held concurrently in Athens, Greece, 2-5 September 2008. Filipa Moleiro was awarded the CST2008-Young Researcher Best Paper Prize for the first paper in this special issue entitled: "Mixed Least-Squares Finite Element Model for The Static Analysis of Laminated Composite Plates" written with colleagues, CM. Mota Soares, C.A. Mota Soares and J.N. Reddy.
