Modified Overhauser elements for approximation of boundary densities in regularized BEM formulations

摘要

The aim of work is to investigate the accuracy of regularizing factors in various BEM formulations with approximating the boundary densities by using various kinds of boundary elements satisfying the sufficient continuity conditions. It is shown that C~1-continuous elements could be sufficient if an appropriate BEM formulation is employed. The modified Overhauser elements are developed in order to remove certain shortcoming of the standard Overhauser elements.
