摘要

This paper is focused on clock synchronization of measurement points in passive measuring methods of quality of service (QoS) parameters in computer networks (mainly parameters describing delay and its variation, i.e. measurements requiring more than one measurement point). Attention is paid to the network time protocol (NTP) and its capabilities for time synchronization of measurement points. Accuracy of synchronization is analyzed in several measuring scenarios. Further in the paper, there is designed and experimentally verified method for improvement of synchronization accuracy.
