Developers at Time Warner Cable's Full Service Network in Orlando are quickly learning about the challenges of sending megabytes of video information across miles of fibre optic cables. Although the pilot project's video- and shopping-on-demand are up and running, the software developers must now determine how to send different news-on-demand requests to 4,000 homes by the end of the year.
