National Skills Academy Network Calls On Employers To Help To Shape Skills Training In Their Sector

Launched in 2006, the National Skills Academy network represents the gold standard for industry training and gives employers a unique opportunity to lead the development and delivery of training in their sector, ensuring not just current skills needs are met, but helping to ensure the workforce has the right skills in place for the jobs of the future. This collaboration between employers, Government and training providers puts employers in the driving seat to lead the transformation of skills delivery in their industry. The new prospectus launched on 5 June by the Learning and Skills Council is for the latest round of National Skills Academies, which are expected to open in 2009.
