Ikea has plugged a hole in its website security that could have enabled hackers to use the "contact Ikea" function on the site to access the furniture retailer's e-mail system. The security flaw gave full access to the resources of the firm's e-mail servers, which could have allowed hackers or phishers to send bulk mail from Ikea's systems.
