Welsh Assembly aims to save £200m with online procurement system

The Welsh Assembly is deploying an online procurement system which it expects will save the public sector E2oom over five years. The Xchangewales programme will provide a system that will allow every Welsh public sector organisation to find suppliers and order and pay for goods online. It is being delivered using software from the Office of Government Commerce's eToolkit.
