Our poser this week dates back to Victorian times, when this type of "enclosure" problem proved a popular diversion. The task here is to draw four straight lines across the fenced-in area shown, from one border to another, and intersecting where required. The four lines must be drawn in such a way that each of the 11 discs stands in its own little enclosure, separated from all the other discs.
