The government plans to put a digital hub into every community by the end of this parliament as part of its £830m strategy to give the UK the best broadband network in Europe by 2015.rnCulture minister Jeremy Hunt said at the launch of the strategy last week that the market in the UK is making great strides in delivering superfast broadband. Virgin Media and BT both plan to give nearly half of UK house-holds access to speeds of 50Mbps.
