"My Life as a Night Elf Priest" is an anthropological investigation on the emerging phenomenon of online Virtual Worlds. The book is an account of perhaps the most well-known and successful one: World of Warcraft (WoW), a fantasy game developed and distributed by Blizzard. WoW constitutes certainly a paradigmatic online Virtual World with its 12 million players spread across the globe.
