摘要

The paper performs a preliminary analysis of the frequency behaviour of signal and power lines, in order to define a procedure for on-site test of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)systems in their final environment, during the commissioning stage. The first section of the paper briefly investigates the disturbances that are industrial environment. The procedure shall start after the SCADA positioning, when all the field cables are installed and the field sensors and actuators are connected. Critical frequencies are identified for the SCADA system, arising from the actual layout and cable arrangement.
