At $399.99, the CLP-610nd from Samsung is an attractive bargain. It's relatively fast for a low-end color laser, and it comes with a built-in duplex feature for automatically printing on both sides of the paper. You can also expand the onboard memory from 128MB to a maximum of 384MB. The 610ND has both a 250-sheet-capacity main tray and a multipurpose tray that can hold 100 sheets. (An optional third tray can handle an additional 500 sheets.) Rated at 21 pages per minute for both color and monochrome (thanks to its single-pass color laser engine), it didn't quite match that mark in our real-world tests, but its performance was solid nonetheless.
