Mobility capability negotiation for IPv6 based ubiquitous mobile Internet

In order to support continuous communication for the mobile terminals, many mobility management protocols have been proposed and they can be adopted in different scenarios to satisfy special requirements. However, different mobility management protocols have different functional requirements on network elements or mobile terminals. In this paper, an architecture to support the mobility negotiation is proposed in order to select an optimum or preferred mobility management protocol for mobile terminals.
