摘要

This study provides information on how to set a wheelchair to minimise musculoskeletal disorders. It allows users to compare different wheelchair settings and then choose the less constraining one. Of course, the chosen setting, in order to reduce the pain risks, must be efficient in a range of safe settings, depending on user experience, impairment and physical capacities. We are aware that forces applied on the rims are also an important risk factor. Therefore, further investigations including those forces will be necessary.
