Bilateral comparison of scapulothoracic kinematics during scaption in girl tennis players

These results showed that the scapular kinematics patterns differed between the dominant and nondominant sides, suggesting that tennis-specific adaptations at dominant shoulder occurred early in the girl player's career. These findings must be confirmed by a comparison of scapular kinematics between non-active and tennis player girls. Longitudinal studies are also necessary to determine the time course of such adaptations.
