Gowers Review of Intellectual Property bears fruit

The UK Intellectual Property Office published a consultation paper in January following the Gowers Review of Intellectual Property (IP) that reported in December 2006. This made recommendations for reform of aspects of IP that its author believed were necessary to ensure that the system continues to serve the interests of the UK economy, consumers and rights holders alike.
