A series of damning reports has emerged showing that the US government is failing to keep pace with cyber security threats.rnIn a statement of record before the US Senate Subcommittee on Terrorism and Homeland Security, Committee on the Judiciary, GAO officials said that there were still notable deficiencies in the cyber security efforts of US government agencies, in spite of the fact that the number of cyber security incidents reported to US-CERT had increased substantially in the last few years.
