The UK Information Commissioner's Office has found that burglaries and theft are the biggest security risks for organisations processing personal information.rnAccording to figures released by deputy information commissioner David Smith, around a third of security breaches within the UK are result of burglary and theft.rnIt has been two years since the UK government lost 25 million child benefit records. Since then, the ICO has received reports of security breaches from 711 organisations in the UK. This number includes 200 private sector firms, and 209 NHS bodies, the Office said.
