Shape preserving F~3 curve interpolation

摘要

A local shape preserving curve interpolation scheme in R~3 which allows local modification of the curve is derived. A piecewise rational quartic Bezier curve which is F~3 continuous is used to pass through the given sequence of data points. A formula for the approximation of torsion based on the given data points is also presented.
