SONY NEX-C3

The Sony NEX-C3 is what's known as a Compact System Camera.This essentially means its lens is interchangeable, so you're buying into the Sony NEX 'system' when you buy this model. It has a larger image sensor than most small cameras - it's the same size as one used in most SLR models, which along with the higher-quality lenses makes for better image j quality than most I pocket models. TheNEX-C3'sbodyis much smaller than an SLR's. Remove the lens and it will fit it in a pocket. The kit we reviewed came with an 18-55mm zoom lens. In fact, at 33mm thick and weighing 225g the NEX-C3 is compact, but there is no built-in flash - the supplied flash unit clips onto the top.
