Mind maps are visual representations of ideas, thoughts, plans, tasks, anything really. They are based around a branching concept, where everything spreads from a central idea. Lines link the core idea to related ideas, and so the branching continues until the map is fully developed and it's easy to see how the ideas connect. In this workshop we'll show how a free online tool can be used to create visually rich mind maps, with colours and shapes to help categorise and group items and links 'across' the branches to aid complex maps. We'll even explain how to create doodles outside the branch structure, when needed. All that's needed to create your own easy-to-view mind maps is an up-to-date browser and access to the internet.
