Sharing files and other resources on a network between Windows PCs got a little more confusing with the introduction of Windows 7. While Windows 7 has a 'Homegroups' feature that makes it very easy to share documents and printers with other people on the network, it works only between Windows 7 PCs - so it's not much use if you are trying to achieve sharing between computers running a mix of Windows XP, Vista and 7.
