The Motorola Razr i is only the second Android smartphone to have an Intel processor. Most high-end Android smartphones use quad-core ARM processors, but the 2GHz Atom single-core processor is just as fast, if not faster, thanks in part to Intel's hyperthreading technology. It was easily faster than a Samsung Galaxy S3 when loading complex web pages and is almost as quick when running demanding apps. The catch is that not all Android apps are designed to run on Intel processors, so some apps won't work on the Razr i. One noticeable one is the Mozilla Firefox web browser but many previously incompatible apps, such as Google small touch but helps make the interface tidier.
