Take a case to the small-claims court

People are understandably reluctant to take a complaint to court but may have no choice. Mr Mugleston, the subject of the main problem, has told us if he does not get a full refund from Simplytek he will take the matter to the small-claims court. This action is properly known as the small-claims track of the county court The process is very easy and can be started online. Action must be taken within time limits - for example six years for cases under the Sale of Goods Act - and there is a limit of £5,000. No solicitors are involved to keep expense to a minimum.
