Netgear opens up to app makers

Netgear has developed a Smart Network schemethatwill bring.more functionality to home networks. The company said at CES that any developer will be able to write apps for Netgear routers, media streamers and other devices launched this year. Netgear expects to see apps that ensure priority for media streaming, and manage smart home devices, such as Wif i thermostats.
