Modern life is turning people off sex, with Britons more likely to hold their phones than each other. The findings come from a once-a-decade poll into sexual attitudes and behaviours in the UK, with experts pointing the finger of blame at technology's intrusion into the bedroom. The survey of 15,000 Britons was carried out by the National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles, which has previously been conducted in 1990-91 and 1999-2001. It showed that on average we are having sex fewer than five times a month, down from more than six times a month a decade ago.
