I was delighted to read in News, Issue 410, that Google is working on plans to make it easier to read CAPTCHAs. Reading those squiggly words is hard enough if you have perfect eyesight - it's almost impossible for partially sighted people like me. I have to keep refreshing the page to find one I can decipher. And when I give up, I have to call for my wife's help. She gets fed up with it so she'll be just as happy as me if Google banishes this annoyance for good. After years of frustration, I now boycott any service that requires me to do a CAPTCHA.
