BBC staff have lost ￡760,000 of tech since 2010

The BBC has been left red faced after it emerged the corporation's staff lost 785 laptops, tablets and phones in the past three years. Since 2010 BBC staff have misplaced or had stolen 399 laptops worth £598,000,347 phones worth £104,100 and 39 tablets worth £58,500. The figures include personal property of BBC staff not covered by licence fee costs. The details were unearthed by a Freedom of Information request.
