It is easy to reset or recover a forgotten web password; most sites provide a 'Forgot password' link that emails a temporary replacement to your registered email address. Some may verify your identity with a personal question, while a bank will have stricter safeguards in place - you will probably need to call them. Recovering a Windows password is trickier. If the PC has another user with administrative privileges, ask them to log in, open Control Panel,click User Accounts and Family Safety, click User Accounts then Manage another account - here they can select your account and change its password.
