The Shard, the tallest building in Western Europe, is now open to the public. At ￡25, a ticket to the top of London doesn't come cheap, but there's no need to part with any cash to enjoy the view. The Guardian has made an interactive panorama, complete with sound and text to explain the city skyline. The view can be enjoyed at daylight or at dusk, complete with twinkly lights.
