Amazon is set to deliver items even faster by dropping them off at your local shop on the same day you order them. Connect Group (formerly Smiths News) has revealed that it will run Amazon's new Pass My Parcel service, which is aiming to provide same-day delivery services to around 550 newsagents and convenience stores in time for Christmas. It will use Connect's vans - which usually deliver newspapers and magazines - to deliver Amazon parcels to shops around the UK.
