Access and restore earlier file versions in OneDrive

I was glad to hear that OneDrive is increasing the amount of free storage space it offers from 7GB to 15GB. I use Word Online in OneDrive, which means documents I create are automatically saved as I type. Recently, I was working on a document when I realised I needed an earlier version of it. Fortunately, OneDrive not only lets you retrieve earlier versions of a file, but also lets you download it to your PC. Open OneDrive, right-click your file and then click 'Version history'. If the file has multiple versions, the current version will open in a new tab, with previous versions listed on the left.
