Relying on Twitter for news gives us 'dollops of drivel'

Once again, Stuart Andrews has hit the nail on the head - or in this case the bird on the beak. I refer to his Final Straw attack on Twitter (Issue 419), and the way politicians and celebrities assume we're as obsessed by it as they are. I have news for these self-important Twitter twerps. We're not as interested in your thoughts as you think we are. There's something desperate about a 'celebrity' who needs followers to validate their existence. I can imagine them comparing their follower number with other vacuous celebs, and screaming inside if they have fewer.
