Yes, this really is a Windows 10 laptop for 200 quid (it comes with 8.1 so you do need to install the free upgrade yourself). Still, with a 14in screen and full-size keyboard in a sleek black case, it looks as good as any other laptop out there. And it works. Did we mention it's £200? They even give you a penny change. It's hard to resist handing it back with a polite 'No, no, you keep it' as you sprint away before they change their minds. It would be remiss of us not to subject the C40-C to the same rigorous test procedure as every other laptop. But really, we are in a more forgiving mood when the price tag is so modest.
