Windows 10 virtual desktops

Cables, adapters, USB sticks, batteries... my study desk is littered with them (and more besides). It's not that I'm an untidy person. Actually, I am, but that's not the reason for the state of my desk. Everything covering it is actually being used for work - honest. It's a similar story with my Windows desktop, which frequently has in excess of two dozen programs open at any given time. Unlike with my desk, however, I have a secret tool to help keep everything organised: virtual desktops. Windows lets me create as many as I like - each one appearing as a separate clean desktop, upon which I can open programs. I can then press Alt+Tab to cycle through them without having to sift through all the other stuff running on my other desktops.
