How do I link dashcam to the cloud?

Q I've purchased a BlackVue DR750S-2CH dashcam. The manufacturer says this can be connected to BlackVue Cloud, which lets one see where the car is situated and the dashcam's live video feed. It requires Wi-Fi, in-car Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot. I'm not sure what any of this means. My iPhone 6s does know what the dashcam is seeing but I'm not sure if this is through the cloud' or Wi-Fi between the camera and phone. Can you help with these terms, as my knowledge is limited. Also, I'm thinking of changing to an iPhone XR, if that's relevant.
