If you wanted a desktop PC for home and a laptop for away, £1,500 would be a modest budget for both. Spend it all on the Razer Blade Stealth, and you might get everything you need in one.The case's matt black coating drew lots of envious attention during testing, even if it does tend to pick up greasy marks. A cleverly engineered hinge holds the screen effortlessly at any angle, and a dual-fan cooling system avoids any overheating. Stereo speakers flank the keyboard, although they are a little tinny to be honest, and there's a large Microsoft Precision-compliant touchpad. The keyboard is slightly squashed to fit the compact 13in format, but we found it quite usable, and the backlight can be set to any colour.
