This is a full-blown do-it-all gaming laptop with a six-core i7 processor and the latest RTX 2070 graphics card, yet it's only just over a millimetre thicker than Huawei's slim and light MateBook 13 (see page 23). And while Asus were busy doing the impossible, they thought they might as well redesign the laptop as we know it at the same time. Unfold it, and opposite the 15.6in screen is a full-size RGB-backlit keyboard, set at the very front of the case. Instead of a landscape-shaped touchpad between the keys and you, there's a portrait-shaped area at the right that works like a touchpad until you turn on NumLock, at which point numbers magically light up (pictured below) for you to type.
