Renaming one file is easy, but editing the names of a folder full of them can be time consuming. ReNamer helps out by letting you edit multiple file names at once. Simply tell it where your files are located, then start creating the renaming rules. Options include inserting/deleting characters, changing the case, removing unwanted characters, changing the file extension and more. This version sees the full release of a number of features that were previously in beta, including the ability to add comments to your rules using the right-click menu. The free version of ReNamer limits you to five rules per renaming task, but that should be enough for most people. To create unlimited rules, you'll need to pay $17.95 (£14).
