Microsoft cuts the ribbon as Outlook is made easier

Microsoft is simplifying the ribbon in its email program Outlook as part of a redesign to make the Office tool easier to use. The ribbon is a set of toolbars on several tabs at the top of the program window. Microsoft added it to Word, Excel and PowerPoint as part of Office 2007, and to Outlook in Office 2010. Microsoft has always hoped the ribbon would make it easier for users to perform common tasks within Office tools. In Outlook, you can compose an email, add a contact and send messages to junk via the ribbon.
