摘要

Hybrid phosphamide containing polysilsesquioxane was prepared by sol-gel process and characterized by solid-state ~(31)P and ~(29)Si NMR, XRD, FT-IR and XPS. Condensation degree of polysilsesquioxane was calculated as 86.7%. TGA was used to investigate the thermal degradation behavior of polysilsesquioxane. Residue of polysilsesquioxane was analyzed by FT-IR and XPS. It indicated that silicon oxycarbide compound was formed at 600 ℃ Flame retardancy properties of polypropylene composites that contained intumescent flame retardant and polysilsesquioxane were investigated. TGA and DSC were utilized to estimate the effect between polysilsesquioxane and intumescent flame retardant. Mechanical properties of polypropylene composites were further investigated.
