To describe the actual mesostructure of reinforced particulate materials, we propose a general topological deformation method for establishing a composite geometric model with reinforced particles. In this paper, we first assumed that the reinforced particles are star solids and their shape is mathematically described by the topological deformation of an ellipsoid equation. With this star solid parametric description, we can accurately determine whether a point is located in the interior or exterior of a star solid, directly calculate the distance between any point in space and the star solid, and precisely control the interface transition zone (ITZ) thickness by a given parameter. As verification of the proposed method, we constructed 3-dimensional parameterized aggregate models (PSAMs) of concrete. Numerical experiments indicated that the random aggregate models can be randomly generated with a high content of star aggregates conforming to the optimized Fuller grading curve, 2-graded aggregate content of more than 55%, and 3-graded aggregate content of more than 60%. This leads us to the conclusion that the proposed method can effectively model a composite material with enhanced particles.
