The in-medium quark condensates will decrease as the density of nuclear matter increases if the original QMC model has been modified by introducing the σ-dependent cou- plings, and this modification will lead to in-medium quark condensates completely vanished at about three times the saturation density of nuclear matter. This result is consistent with that of the model-independent approximation. Then, the effects of the empirical nucleon radii on the quark condensates are calculated systematically.
