Spatial test filters for dynamic model large-eddy simulation with finite elements

摘要

In this article we will develop spatial filters required in the dynamic model of small-scale turbulent fluid motions in large-eddy simulation with finite elements. The characterization of these finite element filters is crucial because it is seen to have an impact on incompressible Navier-Stokes simulation results.
