摘要

The differential quadrature method based on spline functions (SDQM), considered as a piecewise polynomials of any degree, is proposed in the paper. The conditions for the determination of the interpolation function are presented. The symbolic computing has been employed to determine the weighting coefficients for the SDQM. The method has been examined in the vibration analysis of a plate. Effects of the spline degree, the number of nodes, the grid point distribution and two types of end conditions on the accuracy and convergence have been investigated in the example.
