摘要

The semi-analytical calculation of magneticforces is currently an interesting alternative to the timeconsumingthree-dimensional finite-element modeling(3D-FEM) due to its high accuracy and low computationalcost. This paper presents novel equations for determiningthe magnetic forces of a cylindrical permanent magnetactuator used in high precision magnetic levitationpositioning systems. Compared to the already availableequations in literature, these equations consider themagnetic forces as a function of the current magnetposition. Moreover, these equations are also suitable fordesigning and analyzing the cylindrical permanent magnetactuator. The results of our force equations and theverification by 3D-FEM and measurements are presentedin this paper.
