Operating in today's complex business environment makes it mandatory that organizations of all types, large and small, profit or non-profit, have to engage in third-party associations or partnerships in order to be able to deliver the set of products and services that an organization offers to its customers and the citizenry at large in the case of government entities. This requires a concerted effort to develop a sound program of governance, security and compliance that minimizes the risks associated with operating in a third-party associations' business environment.
