Heimtextil Frankfurt 2006

This year's Heimtextil, the international trade fair for Home textiles and commercially used textiles was held at Frankfurt from January 10-14 and was attended by the first named author. There were 2810 exhibitors from 73 countries including 306 from India presenting their latest and most fashionable products under the motto: 'The art of home fashion'. With a total of 89073 trade visitors from 124 countries and the number of those from outside the host nation Germany rising to 53205 from 51848 in 2005, Heimtextil confirmed its position as the world's biggest international trade fair for home and household textiles. Figs 1A & 1B show the first named author at this exhibition and Figs 2A-2E show some views and scenes from this fair.
