SDC Perkin innovation award

2006 marks the 150th anniversary of the discovery of mauveine by Sir William Henry Perkin. To celebrate this extraordinary scientific breakthrough the Society is dedicating its 2006 Innovation Award to this former president of the Society. Therefore, for 2006 only, the award will be known as the SDC Perkin Innovation Award - a unique accolade for the winning organisation.
