BTRA announces an International Conference 'Innovation in Textiles and Demanding Consumerism'

In commemoration of fifty years of its presence in the green campus at Ghatkopar, Mumbai, BTRA is organising an International Conference viz., 'Innovation in Textiles and Demanding Consumerism,' on 9th and 10th December 2010 in its premises. In line with the activities of BTRA over the last five decades, research papers encompassing the entire gamut of the textile technology and management are covered. At least nine of the fourteen papers are from overseas authors. The topics covered are in the areas of spinning, weaving, dyeing, nonwovens, antimicrobial finish, plasma finishing, conductive textiles and retailing. The titles of research papers are as follows.
